Well, this week im going to share...
How to colour correct in Final Cut Pro.
I think its quite useful when the scene of the whole shoot its a little redish or blueish.
We can colour correct it like just how we want it.
Of course we can also adjust it in After Effects

Im going to post some green screen tutorial.
As my cinematography, we have to use green screen.
The reason we use green screen is when we want the human or the object in the background that we wanted.

I will show some videos in After Effects.
There is two ways.
Keylight and Chroma.
I prefer keylight better.
I think Keylighting remove most of the green parts faster and better.

Sharing tutorials with you! =D

I think this is cool.
It would help me in my future projects.

However, I used most of my effects in After Effects.

This is the second set of photos that we shot after realising the first set of photos doesn't work.
We did a lot of editing to the pictures.
Like making the jacket invisible,
(Plastic Wrap effect on photoshop).

As it is all still photos, we got to enhance it by using transitions.
What is transitions?

http://as.dummies.com/WileyCDA/how-to/content/understanding-transition-types-in-final-cut-pro.html
Check out this website to have a better understanding of transitions and when do we use it.

I found another website, its meant for students.
A simplified of what is the different types of transitions.
http://www.mediacollege.com/video/editing/transition/types.html

Where to do transitions?
Effects > Video Transitions
There is two ways to it.

I think I love the effect Ripples the best.
Ripples are mostly used to ghostly type or dreamy mode.
We did used this effect to emphasized on the ghostly part. If you see the clip.
However, we couldnt really see most of the clip with the transition we want.

So I went to search on how to see unrendered stuffs.

This video tells us that we could use the unlimited RT.

Now I can view my transitions with the whole video.
I don't have to waste my time waiting for the clips to be rendered fully to test my transitions.
Thats my editing of the first assignment.

Film editing the first project.

My group did advertisement.

The advertisement is about this invisible jacket.

Storyline:
This girl found a jacket on the table.

Saw it glowing.

With curiosity, she picked it up and went to toilet to try it..

However, she didnt know the abilities of the jacket can do for her.

She became invisible, leaving parts of her when not wearing the jacket,

She passed back some passerby and realised she is invisible.

And let us introduce the invisible jacket price at how much and where..

We did our first shoot.

Lots of things were not right.

Like the colour of the environment, the angles.

I was the model.

The one being invisible..

Photographer: Priscilia

Another model is Ruth! =D

The things were not right.

So we made an effort to reshoot..
